DEVONthink 3.0.2

November 19, 2019 — Eric Böhnisch-Volkmann

Our second update for DEVONthink 3 brings a long list of additions, enhancements, and fixes.

We have added keyboard navigation to the sidebar so that you can more quickly browse through databases, expand or collapse groups, or jump to a group simply by typing the first characters of its name. Summon the Sorter in search mode with a new keyboard shortcut, and close all windows at once or export PDFs without annotations now with new alternative menu commands.

If you use WikiLinking you’ll like that we’ve made it more reliable and added better autocompletion when using square bracket syntax. We’ve also added new smart rule actions and options for excluding items from WikiLinking or subgroups in general from the result set of smart groups and rules. DEVONthink 3.0.2 imports, renders, and searches your Nisus Writer files.

Finally, almost all parts of DEVONthink have received some attention in regard to performance and reliability. Many user interface elements respond faster and more consistently. The update also fixes several bugs and crashes.

You can find a complete list of all improvements (and this time it’s a long one) by choosing Help > Release Notes inside of DEVONthink.

We recommend this free update to all users of DEVONthink 3. Get it directly by using the app’s update function or our Download page.
