DEVONthink is a very flexible program and can be used very simply or in complex ways. One of the simple ways people mention is for storing recipes. Indeed it is easily capable of storing your recipes. But how do you find good ones? DEVONagent Pro can help with this task.

• Create a search set in Window > Search Sets.
• On the General tab, add a Recipe scanner that will try and filter out pages with recipes.
• On the Plugins tab, choose Web or your preferred search engine, like DuckDuckGo.
• Leave the default search term blank so you can add ingredients, etc. when you search.

With the DEVONagent Express menu extra in DEVONagent Pro (which you activate in Preferences > Menu Extra), you can use the same set for quick searches from the menubar. And don’t forget you can add any or all the results in DEVONagent Pro to your DEVONthink database.
