Volume Purchase Program?

Since we released DEVONthink To Go 3.0 we received the question about how to buy the app as a student or educator. In the world of the App Store this is only possible via the Volume Purchase Program (VPP) and if the school or institute has joined.

However, the VPP does not allow in-app purchases which makes it impossible now to buy DEVONthink To Go at all. Some other software vendors solve this by publishing a completely separate app with upfront payment like in the old days so that it can be purchased via the VPP.
