DEVONthink To Go 3.6.5

Today’s maintenance update for DEVONthink To Go enables thumbnails (a.k.a previews) for bookmarks and web archives, and makes updating thumbnails more reliable and use less memory. Reorganized context menu commands let you update or remove thumbnails depending on the kind of document.

Version 3.6.5 also improves the handling of quotes when doing quick searches that don’t require the full-text index, e.g., when searching for names. The latter also run much faster which is especially useful when searching from Shortcuts automations.

Other enhancements include smoother scrolling of long lists of items, in particular the Reading List, and better breadcrumbs in the group selector. The Clip to DEVONthink extension is now able to clip files from inside previewed ZIP archives. And finally, version 3.6.5 changes a detail in how documents are shared for editing in other apps so that editors such as Readdle PDF Expert can now properly work with documents stored in DEVONthink To Go.
