DEVONthink 3.9.1
Today’s maintenance update for DEVONthink for Mac adds support for the squiggly underline annotations made in some PDF applications and lets you optionally snap line annotations to multiples of 45 degrees. While editing text documents, move selected lines up and down with keyboard commands. This can be very convenient, e.g., when working on lists.
In addition, DEVONthink 3.9.1 lets you use a new placeholder that inserts hashtags into the document created from a template. The strict duplicate detection now uses content hashes for even more accurately finding exact duplicates, and DEVONthink Server’s web interface has a new option that lets it match substrings when searching. It also produces results more like those of the desktop application.
Of course, version 3.9.1 also comes with many more improvements and fixes, e.g., changes to make menus and commands more consistent across the interface. And again, performance and reliability continue to improve.
You can find a complete list of all improvements by choosing Help > Release Notes inside the application. We recommend this free update to all users of DEVONthink for Mac. Get it by using the application’s update function or from our Download page.
