DEVONthink To Go 3.7
Our update for DEVONthink To Go today brings support for WikiLinks. Like in the desktop version, make any part of your text a dynamic link to other documents in your database, either by using MashedWords, placing it into double square brackets, or simply by typing their name or alias. Provide a template including placeholders that will be used when you tap a WikiLink for which no target document yet exists.
Version 3.7 also adds cross-platform support for various new kinds of item links. You can copy an item link for any document or group in DEVONthink (To Go) and use it as a reference to your document in all places that accept URLs. Now you can also directly link to specific parts of a document, e.g., a text paragraph, a selection, a PDF annotation, or a time mark in a video.
Long requested, now here: a new button that selects all items in a list or deselects everything. Search results also have an edit mode now for selecting multiple results and acting on them, e.g., marking everything as flagged. RTF documents and formatted notes show PDF attachments, and Markdown and plain text let you scan text directly into the document. URLs pasted into rich text documents become linked text if names for them are available.
Other improvements include a setting to reduce the number of notifications you see, the option to clean remote databases from a sync store, and the possibility to use DEVONthink To Go without a one-time payment or subscription with limited functionality.
You can find a complete list of all changes by choosing ?⃝ > Release Notes on the database screen. We recommend this free update to all users of DEVONthink To Go. Get it from the Updates area of the App Store.
