DEVONagent 3.11.8

Today’s maintenance release for all three editions of DEVONagent adds a new plugin for querying the Ecosia search engine. Ecosia’s aims to need as little of its revenue as possible for personnel, servers, and infrastructure and invest the rest into planting trees as a climate change countermeasure.

Other improvements include updates to some plugins, search sets, and scanners. For more focused search results with Google and Web plugins, DEVONagent uses verbatim searches, and proximity searches, e.g., using the NEAR operator, produce better results. Also, audio and video files no longer play automatically, speeding up browsing your results. Importing from Safari now allows adding even larger histories.
