Eighteen Happy Children

In 2019, we made our first donation to the organization Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe (German Cleft Children’s Relief), which supports the treatment of children with cleft lip and palate from families in need. Last year, we were once again able to support the organization financially and cover the costs of eighteen surgeries. We have now received the news that all the treatments were successful.

Two of the children we were able to help this way are Swadhin from Bangladesh and Nusrat from India. Both were born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. But thanks to the local medical teams, Swadhin and Nusrat underwent the important surgeries to close the cleft lip and palate before their first birthday. Not only the two of them, but all eighteen children can now look forward to a life without the numerous consequences of a cleft lip and palate.
