DEVONagent 3.9 Introduces Inspectors, Cleans Up Interface

We have just updated all editions of DEVONagent. With version 3.9 we introduce a new Inspectors pane unifying several other panes. It gives you access to page properties, objects retrieved by scanners, and related pages. Properties include the author’s name, the page description, keywords, and more.

The retrieved objects such as, e.g., links, images, videos, or RSS feeds are presented in actionable lists. The See Also Inspector shows you related pages from the archive, search runs, or retrieved from web search engines.

Remove all search results from a selected domain with a new, convenient menu command. Revised menus and keyboard shortcuts also let you use DEVONagent Pro more comfortably. In addition, DEVONagent Pro and Express 3.9 search or even import the history of OS X Yosemite’s Safari 8. And we have improved the built-in see-also algorithm, too. Updated search and scanner plugins deliver more accurate results. Google plugins use the secure HTTPS protocol now. The audio and video scanners find not only linked but also embedded AV materials.

To conclude with, version 3.9 of all editions optimizes the performance, e.g. by executing more tasks in the background. Memory management improvements make it possible to work even with huge lists of filtered links and domains in DEVONagent Pro.
