The DEVONtechnologies Blog reviews DEVONagent Pro 3.5

May 17, 2013 — Eric Böhnisch-Volkmann

Yesterday Macworld published a four-mice review of DEVONagent Pro 3.5, written by Joe Kissell. You already know Joe as the author of many excellent Take Control books, among them also Take Control of Getting Started with DEVONthink 2 and Take Control of Your Paperless Office.

Joe compares version 3.5 with version 2.3, which he had reviewed back in 2008, and draws the following conclusion:

For serious, detailed Web research, especially when you have to find data that’s not accessible in conventional search engines, DevonAgent Pro can cut through clutter and help you make sense of complex information. It’s unlikely to replace Safari, Chrome, or Firefox as your everyday browser, but for what it does best, no other tool can compare.
