DEVONthink 2.11 and DEVONthink To Go 2.7, released today, add push notifications to the synchronization. Whenever you now make changes to your databases our app sends notifications to all your other devices telling them that something new is waiting for them. That means that it takes much less time before changes are available on all your devices. And as a bonus, it lets us wake up DEVONthink To Go, even when your iPhone or iPad is still in your pocket or bag, and pull the new data in the background. (mehr)

The maintenance release indexes items without searchable text locally, e.g. email synchronized from DEVONthink Pro, and enhances the way it handles the keyboard when searching. And here’s something else you may not have known… On DEVONthink To Go’s home screen, you can go into the trash for a specific database. Long press or left-swipe a record and choose Put Back to return it to it’s original location. You can also tap the Edit link, select several records, and choose Put Back from the Organize menu. Last night our latest maintenance update for DEVONthink To Go has passed Apple’s review. Version 2.6.2 allows settings flags and labels using URL commands, removes path extensions from the name of files imported from, e.g., the Files app, and warns before adding a database with pending items to a new sync location.
