Save Versions
DEVONthink automatically saves versions of your documents when you edit them in the app. Specify how many versions DEVONthink should keep and when it should delete older versions. Go back to a previous version at any time.
Search Your Texts
Scan letters, invoices, documents and make them permanently searchable via text recognition (OCR). DEVONthink automatically rotates and deskews scans, and makes the text of a scan immediately usable using macOS technologies.
The integrated text recognition is based on ABBYY FineReader.
Imprint Your Documents
In DEVONthink, create personalized stamps for PDFs and images with individual fonts, colors, and placements. Placeholders automatically add dates, serial numbers, or self-defined metadata. Create smart rules and add Bates numbers to your documents.
Archive Your Mail
Copy individual messages or whole mailboxes directly from Apple Mail to DEVONthink, import from other email apps such as Microsoft Outlook or extract them from UNIX mailboxes.
DEVONthink stores the archived messages in their original file format in the database. You can then view, organize, and search for them.
Changes in current versions of Outlook may prevent email archiving. Please check our FAQ for details.
