Easier Scanning with DEVONthink

DEVONthink’s new scanning function unified the various scanning options of previous versions and made paper capture available also for users of the Personal and Pro editions. But users are still missing some of the more advanced options, for example convenient capturing of documents with multiple pages. DEVONthink 2.4.2, which we have released today, supports the option Combine Into Single Document whenever you scan as PDF or TIFF. Just name the document and start scanning; DEVONthink creates a new document for you that you just have to send to your database when you’re done with all pages.

But, of course, we’ve stuffed more into the update to version 2.4.2 for all editions of DEVONthink as well as DEVONnote: from support for OS X 10.8’s Calendar and Reminders applications to — listen up, students! — much faster and more reliable integration with Bookends (11.3.3 or later).
