DEVONthink 2.9.5 and DEVONthink To Go 2.0.4

As with most major operating system releases, macOS Sierra and iOS 10 bring not only new features but also many under-the-hood changes. We have just released updates for all editions of DEVONthink as well as for DEVONnote and DEVONthink To Go.

The maintenance releases for the Mac work around the multitude of issues introduced with Sierra’s overhauled PDF library, changes in Mail’s script support, and more. On iOS, DEVONthink To Go 2.0.4 fixes many issues related to memory and database management. The new version is also more responsive in everyday use.

On both platforms the updates improve the synchronization reliability and performance. Synchronizing uses less disk space, less memory, and less bandwidth. It also also handles interrupted transfers better and cleans sync stores up to 13 times faster.

We recommend these free updates to all users. Get the new Mac versions directly by using the apps’ update function or our Download page. The iOS update will become available through the App Store as soon as it has passed Apple’s review.
