We have just released a first update for DEVONagent Pro 3.0 that brings support for OS X Lion’s fullscreen mode as well as many other improvements and bug fixes. Update your copy with the built-in update function or download it from our Download page.
Finally, three weeks after we have posted version 3.0.3 of DEVONagent Express to Apple for review the new release is finally available in the Mac App Store. You can download it through the App Store app (which sounds a bit like a hiccup, BTW). And PhotoStickies has made it, too. That means that our first freeware application for the Mac ever released now also made the jump. Click here to get it.

After seven months of public beta testing we have released DEVONagent 3.0 today. And because it’s the best (re)search assistant we’ve ever made we now call it DEVONagent Pro :-) We made it compatible to OS X 10.7 Lion, of course, support 64 bit mode, and have updated or rewritten all plugins. If you’re a JSTOR fan, SEC website user, or lawyer researching on LexisNexis: DEVONagent Pro supports them all now, too. (more)

Today we have released the last public beta of DEVONagent 3.0 to the wild. We have added our new support assistant with one-click installs for plugins and scripts, a stand-alone menu extra similar to DEVONagent Express, and dozens of more new improvements and bug fixes. We also have updated DEVONthink and DEVONnote to version 2.1.1 with bug fixes e.g. for the Sorter. Definitely a recommended update for all of you using DEVONthink or DEVONnote!
Just a quick note that we have today submitted DEVONagent Express 3.0.1 to Apple with a number of bug fixes. Included are fixes for glitches in the user interface as well as for a bug that lets the app consume way to much CPU time when being used for a longer time.
As promised two days ago: We have more news this week. Today is the end of the DEVONacademy as we knew it. We have updated all tutorials, collected new scripts, templates, and plugins, moved all tips from my blog to a database, and integrated everything into an easy-to-use assistant that is now part of DEVONthink and DEVONnote, and soon also of DEVONagent. DEVONagent 3 introduced a menu added to the right-hand side of the menu bar. Using this menu extra you can run quick searches directly from within any other app on your Mac and view the results right there in the menu, just like when using Spotlight. (more)
