Push Notifications for Sync and More

DEVONthink 2.11 and DEVONthink To Go 2.7, released today, add push notifications to the synchronization. That means that it takes much less time before changes are available on all your devices. And as a bonus, it lets us wake up DEVONthink To Go, even when your iPhone or iPad is still in your pocket or bag, and pull the new data in the background. (more)

Just like a smart folder in the Finder, smart groups in DEVONthink are a handy way to isolate items based on common criteria. But sometimes you may need a similar, but not exact set of criteria to use — a temporary and reusable smart group. For example, if you wanted to search for groups by name, you could create a smart group via Data > New > Smart Group, with criteria of… … (more)

And while DEVONthink 2.10.1 is working fine on Apple’s latest incarnation of the Mac operating system, the new security measures do interfere with DEVONthink Pro Office’s Mail plugin. Mojave wants to know that you trust our plugin and have the intent to run it. To (re)enable the Mail plugin please follow these steps: … (more)
